TULSA – Two apartment units were rendered uninhabitable Friday after flames erupted at a s. Tulsa apartment building
Around a dozen firefighters were called to Yale Towne Apartments near 71st and Yale around 7:30 a.m. to fight the fire that left one resident displaced.

Overall, 12 units in the building were affected by the heavy smoke as a result of the fire. Residents were asked not to return into the building until crews could ventilate it properly.
Red Cross arrived to offer residents a temporary shelter at the leasing office for assistance.
