Crews got 50 horses to safety after a barn caught on fire in Broken Arrow.

They had to cut a chain to get the animals out; they say there were no injuries.

The Broken Arrow Fire Department arrived to the scene around 11 p.m. at 31st St. and 193rd E. Ave.

A two-story horse boarding facility was destroyed by heavy flames. The second floor was a living space.

The owner told 2 Works for You that his main concern is finding a water source for his horses. He said the fire destroyed the pump room that had a water well inside.

The owner believes the repairs will cost thousands of dollars.
