Fifth arrest made after 9-month-old injured during alleged home invasion

Posted

TULSA -- A fifth and final arrest was made Sunday in an alleged home invasion that left an infant critically injured.

Courtney Cole, 25, was released on bond after being arrested on a warrant for permitting child abuse by injury.

Earlier in October, police say two women and a man broke into a unit at the Meadows Apartments in east Tulsa. \

During the break-in, one of the suspects threw a metal rod through a glass window.

That rod hit a 9-month-old boy in the head, causing a critical head injury, say police.

Charges were filed against Cole and Joshua Hunt because police say the suspects came to the home to retrieve property that Hunt allegedly stole, placing the infant in danger.

Hunt and the three suspects were also arrested this month on multiple charges, including child neglect and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
