WASHINGTON - The father of slain TV Reporter Alison Parker is joining gun-control advocates in Washington D.C. to demand action from lawmakers.
Andy Parker as well as other family members grieving the loss of loved ones from recent shooting tragedies will be rallying today.
The rally at the U.S. capitol comes as part of the nationwide "whatever it takes day of action".
Organizers of the event are asking Americans to share their views on gun violence by going to everytown.org.
