SAPULPA, Okla. – A trial date has been set for the man accused of killing his 5-year-old son
Bryon Creech was taken into custody last March after police were called to investigate reports of a man violating a protective order.
Officers say Creech fired shots and barricaded himself and his young son inside an apartment at the Riverchase Apartment complex in south Tulsa.
After a 17 hour standoff, police found the boy dead.
Creech is scheduled to be in trial this upcoming June.
