Jason Aldean took the stage again nearly two weeks after the Vegas shooting, tonight in Little Rock and Thursday night in Tulsa.
Country music singer Jason Aldean delivered a special message to his fans Thursday night at the BOK Center.
In the crowd were several who saw his last concert in Las Vegas when the shooting happened.
2 Works For You spoke with Mary Rice who was in Vegas during the shooting, but didn't get a chance to see Aldean perform the night of the Vegas shooting.
It was obviously a very emotional concert for her.
She captured Aldean’s special announcement about Vegas all on video.
“I'm glad to be here. I'm glad that were able to resume the tour here for you guys. It's one of those things that I don't think anybody, I hope none of you guys experience anything like that. It's been a really tough thing to deal with for all of us up here," said Aldean.
“There's so much animosity between everybody right now and that can't happen. It needs to all come back together,” said Rice.
“Everybody came together to support Las Vegas and all the victim's and stuff. That needs to happen all the time, not just when a tragedy happens. It has to be all the time," said Rice.
2 Works For You spoke with Sherry Hale. She was there when Aldean was performing during the shooting and went to see him in Tulsa.
“I was touched. He was just-- it was an amazing concert, it was an amazing message. He has been turned upside down by this it sounds like as everybody would be, as i have been," said Hale.
