TULSA, Okla. — Princeton Porter's family described him as a great person that was full of fun and life.

Porter was murdered at his apartment on Monday night. Multiple family members and the family pastor showed up to the stand-off at Atlanta Terrace Apartments. The two men responsible were taken into custody after the confrontation and were later charged for the death of Princeton Porter.

While waiting for answers, Porter's family tearfully talked about their murmured loved one.

"He was just such a good kid," said one of his aunts, Connie Porter. "He just didn't deserve this; he didn't deserve any of this."

One of Porter's friends, Joe Myers, who used to work with him at the Okmulgee Jail said, "He was always upbeat and nice and had a smile on his face always no matter what was going on at work."

"He really was a great guy, there aren't many people like him in the world," said Myers.

"He had that smile 24/7 and was laughing all the time."

This is a developing story, and we thank the family for allowing us to share Princeton Porter's story.
