On Monday, more than 350 airmen with the 138th Fighter Wing with the Oklahoma National Guard  were welcomed at the Tulsa Air National Base.

"We're just ready to see him. We don't plan on doing anything but just loving on him," said Tasha Stephens next to her two young boys waiting for their dad.

As soon as the plane landed and opened its doors, excitement ran high and the crowd went wild on the runway. There were many hugs exchanged and tears as families reunited.

"It's definitely exciting to see them, miss them the entired time," said Staff Sergeant Stephens as his wife and two sons hugged him.

The men and women in uniform spent 90 days in Afghanistan providing air to ground weapon support against terrorist group ISIL.
