TULSA - Two families have to find somewhere to stay after a fire at their apartment complex overnight Monday.
Firefighters say the fire broke out just before 2:30 in the morning Monday near 81st Street and Sheridan Road.
Firefighters on scene were able to get the burning complex under control quickly, but not before two of the units were rendered uninhabitable.
Officials say an additional two units were damaged. Firefighters said the fire could have been much worse if it was on the other side of the complex.
Firefighters say the building actually helped block the winds from fanning the fire. No one was injured.
