OKLAHOMA CITY – The bill designed to close the loophole in Oklahoma's forcible sodomy law has been officially signed by the governor.

The bill was written after criminal charges were dropped against a 17-year-old boy who was accused of forcing a heavily intoxicated girl to perform oral sex on him.

The bill also expands the definitions of "sexual assault" and "consent."

House Bill 2398 was signed by Governor Mary Fallin on June 6.
