Facebook helps catch felony suspect

Posted

ROGERS COUNTY, Okla. – Local deputies were able to make an arrest this week, all with the assistance of social media.

Rogers County Sheriff’s Office posted a picture of Diana Harris on their “Most Wanted Suspects” page and it was shared more than one hundred times.

Less than five hours after publishing the picture, Rogers County put up another post, saying she was arrested.

Harris was wanted on felony charges and according to their post, when she was taken into custody they discovered drug paraphernalia and substances believed to be narcotics on her person.

Deputies credit the powers of Facebook for helping them find their suspect.
