GUTHRIE, Okla. — People of all ages are invited to downtown Guthrie on Monday to appear as extras in a bank robbery scene for the film "Southland," which stars Bella Thorne.
Officials say it is the only opportunity for members of the public to appear in the film, which is about two young lovers who rob their way across the south, post their exploits on social media and gain fame and followers as a result.
People are invited to attend filming beginning at 8 a.m. at the Guthrie Post Office. Filming will last until about 1 p.m.
The movie stars Thorne (The Duff, Blended, Midnight Sun), Jake Manley (A Dog's Journey, Izombie, American Gods) and Amber Riley (Glee).
