TULSA — It was nearly one year ago that thousands of teachers across the state walked out of the classroom and onto Capitol grounds as they pushed for more education funding.

Now, an art exhibit shows the passion teachers had during the movement.

The nonprofit AHHA Tulsa is hosting the "Art of Protest" exhibit with posters and other items made around the time of the walkout.

The group says there was a large graphic impact of pieces of art from Oklahoma across the country.

The exhibit is expected to run through mid-summer.
