OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma City Thunder Head Coach Billy Donovan won't be returning next season, according to a report by ESPN.
Donovan's contract expired after the 2019-20 season, and both sides decided not to pursue an extension.
ESPN reported that sources said "the reality of Oklahoma City’s eventual transition toward a rebuild made it a challenge for the two sides to find a way to continue forward together."
