TULSA--Police say EMSA took a 75-year-old woman to the hospital Monday morning after a car hit her in downtown Tulsa.

Officers were called to the scene near South Boston and 7th St. just before 7am Monday.  Officials say the woman was jaywalking across Boston Street when blue Honda hit her. Officials tell 2 Works for You that the woman suffered a head injury and a broken leg.

Police say the driver of the car probably did not see the woman because she was wearing dark clothing. The driver stayed on the scene and will not be cited for accident, but might get a ticket for not having a drivers license, officials said.
