TULSA – The search for a missing elderly man, who is also a World War II veteran ended Friday evening after police found him safe in Bixby.
Howard Chapman, 90, was reported missing on November 3 around 4 p.m.
Tulsa police reported that Chapman told his wife he was going to test the cruise control on the vehicle but he never returned. Since that time, he not made contact with family or friends.
Chapman also reportedly suffers from memory problems attributed to dementia and from congestive heart failure, for which he needs medication.
