Police investigating after east Tulsa Sonic robbed at gunpoint Monday night

TULSA -- Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed an east Tulsa Sonic at gunpoint Monday night.

Officers say at 10:40 p.m. Monday, a man got inside the Sonic on East 41st street near Highway 169 and robbed the employees with a black handgun.

According to police, the suspect took money from the register and from the workers themselves.

After the robbery, the suspect fled on foot toward Wyndam Hotel south of the restaurant.

No one was injured during the robbery.
