LAKE TEXOMA — That is a big fish!
Durant fisherman Zachary Sutterfield reeled himself a 170-pound alligator gar from the waters of Lake Texoma, Oklahoma Game Wardens posted on its Facebook page.
The 6-foot-9 prehistoric fish was caught over the weekend while Sutterfield was bowfishing.
Wardens said family members Nic and Billy Sutterfield were able to help get the ginormous creature onto their boat.
A Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation biologist was able to gather data about the fish, Wardens posted.
