TULSA - A woman is in the hospital Sunday morning after Tulsa Police say she ran her car into a metal pole in east Tulsa.
Police say it happened near East 51st Street South and Mingo Road around 1:30. Authorities confirmed that the woman was driving after drinking at a nearby night club.
Police say the damage done to her car shows that she was driving at high speeds at the time of the crash. Crews found debris almost 45 yards away from the scene of the crash.
The driver was taken to the hospital and faces DUI charges.
