DRUMRIGHT, Okla. — According to the Drumright Public Schools Facebook page, a threat made to a student caused the schools to go on lockdown.

Officials say students are safe and Drumwright police are involved.

The district has posted a new Facebook post, stating that a possible threat was made through a fake social media account towards a student.

The Drumright Police Department will be escorting students to their cars or parent/guardian's car, the post says.

The post also states that no student are allowed to walk home, parents are being called to pick up their students.

Drumright police are working to identify the person who used the fake social media account to make the threat, the post says.
