Drug take back events this weekend across Green Country

The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, April 28th and local and state authorities have announced several locations where people can drop off expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.

Friday, April 27
Broken Arrow Community Center
from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Visit the BAPD Booth in conjunction with the Broken Arrow Seniors Health Fair at 1500 S Main St.

Saturday, April 28 (all events from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
Tulsa: 
Reasor's parking lot at 71st and S. Sheridan Road
Patrick Henry Elementary parking lot at 3820 E. 41st St.
M.E.T. Recycling Center parking lot at 21st and S. 129th East Ave. (12466 E. 21st St.)
Tulsa County Sheriff's Office Crime Stoppers Booth Inside Promenade Mall at 41st & S. Yale

Bartlesville:
Bartlesville Police Department at 615 S. Johnstone Ave.
Fire Station No. 3 at 100 SE Madison Blvd.
Fire Station No. 4 at 3501 SE Price Rd.

Vinita:
Craig County Sheriff's Office at 101 W. Delaware St.

Sapulpa:
Sapulpa Police Department at 20 N. Walnut St.

Pawhuska:
Osage Nation Police Department at 1071 Grandview Lane

Mounds:
Mounds Police Department at Mounds City Hall, 1317 Commercial Ave.

If prescriptions are submitted in the original containers, personal information needs to be crossed off before being dropped off. If this is not possible, submit the medication in clear bags.

Authorities will not accept IV bags, needles, bloody or infectious waste, pharmaceutical waste not generated by households, radioactive pharmaceuticals or vaccines.
