TULSA - One person is dead after a wreck in west Tulsa, Wednesday afternoon.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers responded to the wreck on Interstate 244 near 23rd Street just before 3 p.m. They say the vehicle lost control, struck a concrete support for an overhead sign and then a light pole before coming to rest.
Officials say the driver, 57-year-old Robert Buschmann, was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
OHP say the road was wet due to rain, but the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
