TULSA, Okla. - A suspected drunk driver led police on a wild chase late Wednesday night.

Officers from TPD's Mingo Valley Division attempted to stop a possible drunk driver near 21st and South Sheridan Road around 10:30 p.m. The driver refused to stop and fled from police.

The chase ended when the suspect started driving the wrong way on the opposite side of the Broken Arrow Expressway.

A short time later, officers found the suspect's vehicle abandoned near 31st and South Sheridan, but the driver was not located.

Police caught a lucky break less than two hours later, when someone called 911 to report a strange man sitting on their porch and refusing to leave.

Officers arrived and determined it was the driver of the car involved in the chase, identified as 34-year-old David Sack. Police say he appeared to be highly intoxicated.

Sack was taken into custody without incident. He was booked into the Tulsa County jail overnight and was being held for eluding/endangering others.

Sack was previously arrested in July after another high-speed chase, that forced officers to deploy spike strips.
