TULSA — Dove Science Academy's new high school campus in east Tulsa is officially open.
The school held a ribbon-cutting this morning.
This is an effort by Dove schools, to build campuses in communities where good schools are needed the most.
This school will teach 9th through 12th grade and focus on the stem field.
English District Department Head, Melissa Howerton says, "We are able to focus largely on stem which is an important field, there's a lot of job opportunities in the science and technology related fields that are available to them so we can put a large emphasis on them."
This is the third Dove Academy Campus in Tulsa.
