Early this morning the Grady County Sheriff requested the OSBI to investigate an officer involved shooting just north of Pocasset, OK.
In addition the Chickasha Police Chief requested assistance pertaining to a double homicide.
OSBI sent investigative and crime scene agents to both scenes.
Officials at the scene in Chickasha, OK reported two deceased adults, there were two children present but were unharmed.
As officers arrived a pickup truck was seen leaving the residence. Multiple agencies initiated a pursuit.
Highway Patrol initiated a vehicle intervention maneuver and the pickup crashed.
The driver refused to follow commands and show his hands, this resulted in officers feeling threatened and causing them to open fire. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the driver was 32-year-old Julio Eduardo Hernandez Mata, the deceased female at the residence was 31-year-old Rebecca Mae Ancheta Hernandez Mata, the deceased male at the residence was 31-year-old Juan Antonio Hernandez Gonzalez.
