OKLAHOMA CITY -- Donald Trump Jr. will offer his support for Oklahoma Republican gubernatorial candidate Todd Lamb during a campaign rally next week in Oklahoma City.
Lamb says he and Trump Jr. became close during a 2016 turkey hunt hosted by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.
“Donald Trump, Jr. and I forged a relationship two years ago when he attended the turkey hunt,” Lamb said. “I was impressed with his deep knowledge of both federal and state issues, particularly issues related to commerce and the economy. Like his father, our nation’s 45th President, he understands what it takes to grow an economy and create jobs. I very much enjoyed our time together then, and I am honored he is taking time from his family and busy schedule to attend my campaign event and offer his support.”
The campaign rally will be held at the Renaissance Waterford Hotel in Oklahoma City on May 2.
