TULSA - Investigators are trying to determine what started a fire Friday night at a west Tulsa home.
Crews responded to a fire at 4200 South 24th West Avenue just before midnight Friday.
Neighbors reported seeing fire coming out of the windows of the home. Before crews were able to quickly extinguish the flames, the home next door began heating from the fire.
A firefighter received burns to his wrist and the back of his ears while trying to put the fire out. Officials say the firefighter was checked out and sent home. One of the family's dogs died during the fire.
