Dispute Over Tribal Gaming Fees Continues

Oklahoma's Attorney General advises tribal gaming fees cannot be set aside during the ongoing dispute over the State's Gaming Compacts.

In a recent proposal, Governor Stitt suggested diverting gambling revenue into a trust while the dispute is pending.

But Attorney General Mike Hunter issued an opinion saying the funds must be used how the state law directs them.

This includes putting them towards a state fund and public education.
