TULSA — Tulsa uses several different tones to warn people about different natural disasters - tornadoes, flooding, military attacks and chemical releases.

Below, we have posted both the Spanish and English versions of the sirens for all of our viewers.

La ciudad de tulsa utiliza sirenas con tonos que advierten a la comunidad sobre tornados, ataques militares y la emision de contaminantes quimicos en la atmosfera.

Tambien hay un tono inconfundible que advierte a la comunidad de inundaciones.

Este es el sonido que advierte sobre un inminente tornado..

Es un tono de tres minutos.

El segundo sonido es para un ataque nuclear..

Y como pueden escuchar.. Es un tono muy similar al de la policia y bomberos.

El tercer sonido advierte la comunidad sobre una posible inundacion.

Es un tono de tres minutos.. Que es similar al de una ambulancia.. Y personal de emergencia

The first signal is of a tornado warning that is a sign for an impending tornado.

It’s a three minute tone.

The second three minute tone is for a nuclear attack.

As you can hear it’s a wavering tone similar to waiving sound made by police and fire vehicles.

The third is unique to the area warning about flooding.

It’s a three-minute high low tone similar to those used in ambulances and police vehicles in the U.S.
