The TCSO is asking for the public's help in finding Kathy Hemphill's vehicle, a 2005 PT Cruiser that had the Oklahoma license tag 113HFG on it at the time it and Hemphill went missing.
TULSA -- The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man as a person of interest in connection with the case of a missing woman.
Deputies said Kathy Hemphill, 52, was last seen in October at her home in the 5900 block of West 4th Place. Since then, she has had no contact with friends, family members or neighbors.
Investigators believe Hemphill's vehicle, a white 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser with Oklahoma license plate number 113HFG, may contain evidence in the case.
Deputies said John David Lee, 33, was seen driving her vehicle as recently as Wednesday.
Pawnee County deputies saw him driving a stolen pickup truck Thursday and attempted to stop his vehicle. Deputies said he fled and tried to crash the truck into the Arkansas River just north of Highway 64 and east 500 Road. Lee escaped deputies by swimming across the river, officials said.
Lee is not considered a suspect at this time, but investigators need his help to locate Hemphill's vehicle.
If anyone has information about the whereabouts of Lee or Hemphill's vehicle, they are asked to contact TCSO dispatch at 918-596-5600.
