WAGONER, Okla. -- Wagoner County deputies took two people into custody after they reportedly were found burglarizing a property on Monday evening, a news release says.

Officials say someone reported seeing an unfamiliar vehicle at a residence near 720 Road and 260 Road, and when deputies arrived, they saw two people roaming around inside the residence with flashlight about 8 p.m.

According to the release, 20-year-old Anthony Whitney and a juvenile complied when deputies activated emergency lights and gave commands to exit the home with their hands in the air.

The juvenile was turned over the county’s juvenile affairs office and then to a guardian. Whitney was booked into the Wagoner County Detention Center for second-degree burglary.

WCSO says stolen property was recovered by investigators and the victim regained possession.
