The Pawnee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide that occurred just North of Mannford.
At 7:42 a.m., Pawnee County Sheriff's Deputies and Mannford Police Officers responded to a 911.
The caller found a deceased male inside a residence. The man was identified as James Starkey.
The body had injuries consistent with a homicide.
The Pawnee County Sheriff's Office requested OSBI's assistance.
The suspect, Jennifer Starkey, will be booked into jail after she is released from the hospital for injuries she received prior to the police involvement.
The Medical Examiner's Office will perform an autopsy to determine the manner and cause of death.
