TULSA, Okla. -- Drivers can expect delays and lane closures Monday because of construction on I-244 in West Tulsa.
Starting at 9 a.m., crews from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation will close lanes near the 23rd Street bridge on westbound I-244. ODOT says those closures will last until 3 p.m.
During that six-hour window, ODOT is asking drivers to avoid the area if possible and find a different route because major delays are expected.
The lane closures are related to the ongoing bridge project on 23rd Street.
