TULSA — In January, the Council voted to change the name of Delaware Avenue from 101st Street to 121st Street in south Tulsa, according to the Tulsa City Council Facebook page.
The new name, which took effect Aug. 1, is Riverside Parkway, officials say.
The Council says the change was made to reduce the confusion in the area.
The post states that the street had been referred to by several names and this new name change will ensure consistency throughout Tulsa.
