Got drugs? Take back your meds for free this Saturday.
The Drug Enforcement Administration is hosting its 10th annual drug "take-back" September 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The nationwide initiative encourages residents to safely dispose of unused or expired medications.
There are two locations in Tulsa participating in the event:
- Save A Lot parking lot -1526 N. Lewis Ave
- Reasor's parking lot - 4909 E. 41st St.
In ten years, the DEA has collected more than 4.8 million pounds of drugs through this event.
