PICHER, Okla. — We could soon learn the results of the most recent search to find the remains of the missing Welch girls.

Lauria Bible and Ashley Freeman disappeared 20 years ago and are believed to have been murdered.

Over the past few days, investigators and teams from all over the state met near Picher, using underwater drones and high-tech cameras to look into a mine shaft for their remains.

Officials say there are four mine shafts in total they want to search.

But they need to examine the footage to make sure the walls are stable so they can send a diver.
