OKLAHOMA CITY — A former Oklahoma City police officer convicted of rape and other sex crimes is filing an an appeal with the Supreme Court of the United States.
Daniel Holtzclaw is asking for a review of the ruling against him by the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals in 2019.
Holtzclaw was found guilty and sentenced to 263 years in prison on 18 charges of rape and sexual battery involving eight women in 2015.
Holtzclaw has maintained his innocence.
