D.A.: Muskogee Co. man accused of coughing on officers, saying he had COVID-19

MUSKOGEE COUNTY — A Muskogee County District Attorney says that a man has been accused of a felony terrorism hoax after he coughed on officers, saying he had coronavirus.

On April 25, the D.A. says Jason Morris was involved in an altercation at an apartment complex in Muskogee County.

When Morris was taken into custody, he claimed he had coronavirus and coughed at the Muskogee police officers.

According to the affidavit, Morris said he had COVID-19 as a hoax and to threat the Muskogee police officers.

According to the affidavit, Morris has two complaints, one for a terrorism hoax and the other for resisting an officer.
