JENKS -- Crews are working Saturday night to restore power to customers who suffered outages in Jenks and Sapulpa.
About 500 customers are without power in Jenks on Elm Street between 121st Street South and 131st Street South after a vehicle crashed into a power pole. Power is expected to be restored to residents by 11 p.m.
One Jenks resident said he was looking forward to having his heater back on.
"If it would have been a lot colder, the weather would have been worse, or something like that, it would have been a bigger deal but it really wasn’t too bad with it being off," said resident Paul Maxwell.
In Sapulpa, about 1,500 customers are without power due to a broken power pole.
Crews expect to restore power to residents by 10 p.m.
