TULSA -- City crews are working to repair a water line break at the Tulsa International Airport on Wednesday afternoon.

City officials said the 6-inch water line break happened near 7300 East Young Place neat the Economy Parking Lot.

Crews said dig time won’t start till this evening until they determine best place to start digging.

Cars were moved because they are digging in that area, crews said.

Crews said they don’t know the cause of this break yet.

When dig point is determined and the water is shut off, there may be customers in the area without water service or very low pressure until it is repaired, but won’t know that for sure until they valve down, crews said.

Crews said there is no estimated time of repair at this point - might possibly take a minimum of six hours.
