SAPULPA. OKLA. — In Creek County, the sheriff’s office held a memorial service on Thursday for law enforcement.
Officers from different agencies, as well as people in the community, gathered outside the courthouse in Sapulpa for the event.
Oklahoma State Senator James Leewright was the guest speaker.
There’s also a monument next to the courthouse with the names of 25 officers killed in the line of duty.
