TULSA, Okla. — All floors of the Tulsa County Courthouse will have new technology installed to the hand railings of the escalators, in about two weeks. The special part of the railings is the U-V-C lighting in them, which helps with sanitizing.
"When COVID first hit, our building operations group that takes care of the facility said, 'There is a product out here that we can replace these handrails. It has a microbial surface on it and a UV light that comes underneath and disinfects every time it goes through,'" said Tulsa County Commissioner Karen Keith.
