Court docs: McAlester man charged after entering JCPenney through ceiling vents, stealing jewelry

MCALESTER, Okla. — A McAlester man has been charged after he was accused of entering a JCPenney store through ceiling vents and stealing multiple pieces of jewelry.

The incident happened on May 6 at 1744 East Carl Albert Parkway in McAlester.

Court documents said Randy Roe, 30, entered the store from the roof into the ceiling vents.

Roe faces a charge of second-degree burglary and felony grand larceny. He faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
