County road crews are staying busy with the heavy downpours.
Road crews Muskogee County District 1 said just about every road there has had some flooding impact.
For homeowners, it's been hard the past couple of days to get around.
Some roads are washed out, others rutted out, some still impassable.
It could be a long and costly spring for these county road crews.
"it’s been tiring to say the least. You know we started doing this late Friday night. Started with a lot of water rescues because it came up very quickly and kind of unexpectedly,” said Muskogee County Commissioner Ken Doke.
The county commissioners just declared a state of emergency Monday.
That declaration helps the application process for federal assistance for repairing the roads.
