TAFT, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma prison officials say officers foiled a contraband drop at a prison in Taft.

The Department of Corrections says officers at the minimum-security Jess Dunn Correctional Center saw an inmate running toward a housing unit at about 4 a.m. Sunday. After the guards captured the inmate, they found a large amount of contraband nearby.

Officers then saw another person running away from the facility, and that man was caught and arrested after a short foot chase.

Items seized by the officers include: 29 cellphones, 28 cellphone chargers, 60 pounds of tobacco, 150 pouches of smokeless tobacco, nine pounds of chewing tobacco, two pounds of marijuana, rolling papers and 100 lighters.
