This morning we are following a major break through in the fight against the coronavirus, as state health officials say over 500 Oklahoman's, who've tested positive for COVID-19, have recovered.
Reports show these patients have not been hospitalized in the last 14 days since they were first tested.
Meaning, out of the 1,327 confirmed cases in the Sooner State, only 754 are currently active.
So far 51 Oklahomans have died from the virus, with 13 being nursing home patients.
Health officials also tell us over half of those who've died had a pre-existing health condition.
This morning we are also taking a look at the amount of negative test results coming back from private labs.
The State Health Department tells us 11,000 negative COVID-19 tests were processed in private labs dating back to early February.
Bringing our state total for coronavirus tests to over 13,000.
