It's hard to believe but we are just days away from the Tulsa State Fair.
A kick off celebration was held this morning.
The Annual Corn Dog Challenge 5-k saw more than 500 runners lacing up their shoes this morning.
During their run these people also can take a few detours in the form of food challenges.
"We have food stop challenges, we have hardened bricks, carmeled apples, canned lemonade, corn dogs, and The Wonder Bar. It is a fun run that also incorporates great fair foods." Amanda Blair, Tulsa State Fair COO
The Tulsa State Fair kicks off this Thursday with the gates opening at 11:00 a.m.
