TULSA — A control tower at the Tulsa International Airport was evacuated Thursday afternoon due to a fire alarm.
After an investigation, there was found to be no fire. Officials believe lightning could have set off the alarm.
Everyone returned to the tower, and operations have resumed.
Officials said there were no operational issues during the situation. One flight, from Phoenix, had to be rerouted to Oklahoma City, however, due to weather.
