TULSA - Papa John's workers and University of Tulsa athletes surprised several kids Sunday at St. Francis with teddy bears.

Organizers brought 100 of the bears to children spending Valentine's Day in the hospital.

Amber Murphy says the trip benefits more than just children. "I think any time that you're at the hospital, it's always a scary experience, even for adults, and for us to be able to give them something to cuddle and something that is more of a comfort item for them while they're here I think will be a great help to not only the kids but also the families and parents at the hospital"

Customers who donated the bears received free brownies. Papa John's also served heart shaped pizza to families and hospital staff.
