COLLINSVILLE, Okla. -- An Oklahoma fire department could be helping you save some cash.
Over in Collinsville, the fire department and city improved their Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating from a five to a three.
Over the years, they've bought fire trucks, added staffing, and increased training.
The department says people should contact their insurance company.
"The lower rating could result in lower insurance premiums for them, residents and businesses of Collinsville," said Chief Harold Call, Collinsville fire department.
The better rating goes into effect this November.
